“Drop 1 of the A/W 2026 collection is full of show-stopping pieces. The corset detail tops, the high-necked lace blouses, the vintage-look jackets, the ruffled skirts and gowns. It’s history-inspired fashion, but reworked for today.’s contemporary life. We wanted every piece to feel special, but also easy to make your own.”

-Eliana Masgalos, Womenswear Design Director, H&M

The first A/W 2026 drop conjures a world of historical romance, where opulence and ostentation meet elegance and edge. The color palette is awash with light hues - ivory, ecru, bright white, and classic cream – set against dramatic tonal shifts, including bright red, deepest burgundy and inky black. This is a dreamy, ornate chapter, that blends the gothic aesthetics of Victorian and Edwardian narratives with plenty of modern energy.

The silhouette is dramatic yet cool: high necklines, sweeping skirts, corsetry and ruffle fronted blouses are offset by baby doll dresses and skinny jeans. Across the collection there is the suggestion of historical volumes, including plays on tight waists, exaggerated sleeves and trailing skirts. Items are imbued with textural excess: with rich layers of fabrication. They are finished with elaborate embroideries, pearl decorations and lavish trims or, by contrast, raw edges and panels of distressed lace that suggest wildness, bohemia and a touch of grunge.

Details bring a sense of narrative and passion: from a shirt with text embroidery suggesting the words of a love letter, through to jeans covered with sparkling tear-drop style embellishments. Edwardian jackets, metal sunglasses and riding boots bring contrasting toughness. Other accessories riff on the antique mood, they include historical-style coin purses, and a pink jacquard clutch that can also be used as a shoulder bag. Jewellery is romantic yet edgy, thanks to spiked shapes. It blends gold and silver tones with pearls and crystals and adds to the special maximalist decadence of this chapter.
