After many year dreaming of Italy last year we finally made the trip. Of course, I have been in Milan a few times but that was just work and doesn’t really count as seeing the country. So we made a plan and went on a cross-country 3 week long tour/vacation. We started in Florence, took the train to Rome where we stayed for 5 days under the most insane heat weave. From there we took another train to Ostuni, Puglia where we rented a car and stayed for a week visiting the south. From Ostuni we drove up to Tuscany and stayed at a wine yard for a couple of days. Beautiful, just like in a movie. We finally drove back to Florence where we stayed the last week of our vacation in the most perfect apartment. Right here at Numeroventi.
