SANTA FÉ TRAVEL GUIDE

Here it is, as promised, a full Santa Fé travel guid just for you… those of you that have been texting have gotten most of this tips but here we complete it with some photos, stories & we added a few more. Hope you enjoy this guide and most importantly we hope you enjoy Santa Fé as much as we did.

So, entering New Mexico from Texas you can already see how the landscape changes. A full on desert painted with wonderful sand colours with just one long road in front of you splitting the landscape in two. This road that merges into the horizon feels like it has no end to it. A few cows and horses apear on each side every now and then. We see a hug grey cloud far away. We had already passed two big storms on the road, one just outside New Orleans and another one passing Houston, just to arrive to sunny Austin. Now we could see another big one coming. In my head I could only imagine a tornado coming our way and all the cows flying around. Thankfully the tornado did not come and the cows did not fly but we had to pass a big thunder storm, rain, clouds all the way down to the grounds… and there it was, just after that big storm we found beautiful Santa Fé and reached our hotel El Rey Court.

We loved Santa Fé. The days were stormy but that didn’t stop us. We visited as much as we could and we wished we had a couple more days to spend…
