Back in September last year in California this was one of the most exciting exhibitions we saw - Noah Purifoy 'Junk dada' at LACMA.
This piece in particular was one of my favourite. Just one out of Purifoy's big collection. Out in the Mojave Desert he created 10 acres of large-scale sculpture constructed entirely from junked materials. You can see these in his Outdoor Desert Art Museum on 29 Palms Hwy.

The surfboard table by BROOK&LYN is inspired by the surf culture in Huntington, California.
Now what excites me the most is that Mimi was one of the first I got to know through this same blog a few years ago just in the very beginning. Now she has come a long way and one of the most beautiful collaborations she has out is with one of my favourite brands BASSIKE and their brand new store in Venice Beach, California. Congratulations my dear!
